Uses optical filters and tunable lasers on both optical network units (ONUs/ONTs) and optical line terminals driving directions. enables live load-balancing between wavelengths and offers quick failover protection, allowing users to smoothly switch to a different wavelength without experiencing service interruption in the event of interference or heavy traffic on one wavelength channel.
