[Photo] Samsung Showcases Seamless Ecosystem of Mobile Products, Services and Enterprise Solutions at MWC 2017
02/28/2017 | By Netmanias (tech@netmanias.com)

Samsung is showcasing a full slate of products, solutions and services designed to enrich consumers’ lives and transform the way businesses work at MWC 2017.

Visitors to Samsung’s booth can experience firsthand a variety of interactive displays featuring Samsung’s latest innovations, from new tablets optimized for entertainment and to increase productivity at work, to cutting-edge mobile solutions and services designed to streamline other aspects of everyday life.

The Galaxy Tab S3 boasts premium multimedia features and a refined S Pen.

The new Galaxy Book is a high-performance Windows 2-in-1 tablet designed to help mobile professionals get more done.

Attendees experience new levels of virtual immersion with the Gear VR headset.

An interactive display showcases the Gear S3’s wide range of watch faces and straps, designed to cater to any taste.

Attendees try out Samsung’s latest mobile accessories.

An interactive demo shows attendees how to shop wallet-free with Samsung Pay.

An attendee enjoys a fun, impromptu workout, courtesy of the S Health app; after strapping on the Gear S3, the attendee steps on a series of blinking lights, checking their exercise stats in the app afterward.

Samsung’s advanced RCS (Rich Communications Services) technology will make it possible for consumers to easily connect with their favorite services through interactive chatbots, allowing users to make reservations, shop and manage deliveries via simple, chat-style messaging.

Intricate dioramas and accompanying augmented reality (AR) videos demonstrate Samsung’s exciting vision of a more convenient and connected future built on a seamless interface of software and services.

Fun and interactive demos illustrate how enterprises can use Samsung’s Gear VR headset to add an engaging element to the customer experience; here, an attendee is virtually transported to a sunny Club Med resort in Maldives for an immersive tour.

Samsung is also showcasing how its mobile products and services can be used to create “connected retail” by improving how retailers and consumers engage.

Attendees examine devices protected by Samsung’s Knox Workspace containers, which allow users to isolate business applications and data from personal ones with defense-grade security.

Announced at MWC, Knox Configure is a new cloud-based tool that allows IT managers to remotely configure large numbers of devices and deploy apps and content in bulk.

Samsung’s new, stable and secure E-FOTA (Enterprise Firmware Over-the-Air) allows IT managers to optimize how and when firmware updates are performed on their company’s mobile devices.

The booth also introduces attendees to various products developed by Samsung’s mobile startup incubation program, Creative Square.

Attendees strap into the booth’s 4D simulators for an immersive and exhilarating virtual reality ride with the Gear VR.
