Netherlands KPN

네델란드의Incumbent인KPN은2005년3월부터IP transformation (All IP/NGN) 프로젝트를시작하였고2010년까지NGA (FTTC+VDSL2)와NGN (IP/MPLS over DWDM Core, IMS)의망구축완성을목표로하고있다.2007년IP/MPLS Backbone 구축완료(Multiple single-service network (Voice, ATM, SDH, Internet)에서Single multi-service network (MPLS over DWDM)으로Transformation함)2008년부터FTTC+VDSL2를본격설치및서비스시작2009년까지155개Metro Ethernet Network 구축완료목표2010년까지ALL IP (SDF Access & MPLS Core) 망완성목표KPN은Internet, VoIP, IPTV의3 가지서비스를모두단일망(Ethernet Backhaul and MPLS Backbone)을통해서제공하며, 기존의1,350개의CO/MDF는155개정도의Metro Core Location(MCL)로교체되며, MCL에서바로Street Cabinet의MSAN으로Fiber가직결된다. 기존의ATM/SDH 기반의전용회선서비스, FR,  ADSL/ADSL2+ 인터넷액세스서비스, PSTN/ISDN 서비스가2010년부터종결되며CO/MDF도매각되어없어짂다.

2006년부터All IP 망을구축하기시작하였고IP/MPLS backbone망은2007-2008년에완성하였다. NGA (FTTC+VDSL2)망은2010까지75% penetration을목표로구축하고있다. Swisscom도다른유럽의통신사업자와마찬가지로Multiple single service network (PSTN, ATM, SDH, Mobile backhaul, IP network)을single multi-purpose/service 네트워크(All IP: Ethernet + IP/MPLS)로통합중이다.
