First of all a Next-Generation Mobile Core (NGMC) should not be designed to support only the 5G Radio Access Network (5G RAN). Korea Telecom’s 5G strategy is for example clearly indicating that KT’s Trusted Wi-Fi Access Points (AP) should be interconnected to the same convergent core network.
