SK Telecom posts Fastest Broadband LTE-A Download Speed

South Korea's ICT ministry said Tuesday the broadband long-term evolution advanced (LTE-A) service provided by SK Telecom Co. posted the fastest download speed compared to other local rivals in 2014.

According to the data compiled by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, the broadband LTE-A service rolled out by SK Telecom held a download speed of 116.9 megabits per second (Mbps), hovering above the 113.2 Mbps held by KT Corp. and LG Uplus Corp. ♦
